Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at our events?

You don't always see what goes into each event, only what you see when the expo hours are actually open.

A significant amount of activity happens including meticulous booth setup, possible staff training, constant communication between event organizers and our team, including any dock supervisors or load-in staff. And of course there is always last minute adjustments we have to make to ensure a seamless experience for our booth guests.

  • What goes into preparing for an expo?

Leading up to the event, the team works tirelessly for 3-4 weeks to ensure everything is ready. This includes organizing clothing, choosing designs and colors, hangers, price tags, booth displays, and signage. Attention to detail is key to creating an inviting and professional space for attendees.

  • What is a typical expo day like?

The day starts early for the team at expos, which is why they may look a bit tired and have coffee in hand. They arrive ready to build their booth and display their apparel, making sure everything is just right before the doors open to the public. The anticipation builds as they wait for the expo to kick off.

  • What happens once the expo opens?

Once the expo opens, the team is thrilled to see their loyal fans and meet new customers. It's a chance to showcase their products and connect with the community. The energy is high as they engage with attendees and share their passion for their brand.

  • What is the most rewarding part of the expo?

For many races, the team is able to stay and cheer at the finish line, which is the most rewarding part of the race weekend. Seeing the participants cross the finish line, achieving their goals, is a truly inspiring experience. It's a reminder of we do what we do and the impact our clothing has on others. All while the finishers are actually the ones inspiring us.

    Character StopS

Yes we often had to dodge characters when we walked to our stock room in Disneyland. And then sometimes people stopped to see Kate, and made her a character stop 😊

At our finish line tents, we are there before the first runner and stay until the last runner is heading to their car.

    Late expo nights

After a long expo day, we often still there until midnight, packing up the truck with inventory before the next event. This photo is from our cross-country trip to Disneyland California in 2016.

We've loved being part of inaugural expos. Even though it often means a little extra chaos...we are usually pretty adaptable to the situation. Just another day in the expo life.

    Garfield Race

We loved being the very first Garfield apparel and sponsor of the very first Garfield race in Florida.

We try to be there for every RunDisney finish line. We love supporting our running community. Kate does a great job screaming everyone's name as they run by, be sure to look for her!

We loved being able to offer a finish line tent to our club members during our earlier RunDisney race seasons.
